I painted my kitchen red.

This is my third red kitchen! LOL! It was going to just make it the same green as the rest of the downstairs, but I didn't like the green against the cabinets. Just didn't look good. So, red it is! For Red Sundays in my rainbow month.

I always like the idea of a darker color on the walls, but end up going light because I like how it makes the room seem full of light as well. I'm sure yours is going to look great!

@olivetreeann I love color. I tend to use mid-tones, so it's not too dark. But, I love the dark red for my kitchen. I only paint it around the cabinets, so it doesn't overwhelm the room.
