That is the question? Backsplash or no backsplash? decorative tile around my fabulous garden tub? Going into Home Depot and Lowes is dangerous right not. I keep finding more projects than I have time to do.
Go for a backsplah. It finishes everything off nicely! I always pick my neutral things for fear of getting tired of patterns or bold colours. I'm always thinking resell appeal! This looks lovely!
@joansmor I thought it was very pretty. I just don't know if it matches anything in my house! LOL! @amandal Not all of them. But, this time we went for the bigger house, instead of the nicer house, so it needed a little work. @nadaa Thanks! @kwind I put a 1-inch slate tile backsplash in our old kitchen. I loved it. But, the cabinets in this house are so big, I won't have any red wall left! LOL! I still might do it eventually any way. I hate trying to keep a painted wall clean close to the stove. @ceilidh That's what I was thinking, too. I've never worked with glass tiles before, so that could be interesting! LOL! @swilde Hahahaha! Na, I always but a sealer on it. I sealed the slate and the grout on the floor and the backsplash in our old kitchen. It was easy to clean.
