My daughter's favorite necklace is tarnished and has lost a stone. For some reason, she turns all metals, except stainless steel. And she can't wear gold at all, she's allergic to it. We had to send this pendant back
That's so sad- but there are some beautiful crosses carved out of wood that might be a good substitute. They usually have some type of material for the "chain" too. Keep your eyes open at craft fairs, or for wood carvers- and of course there's always the internet too. (There may even be someone selling them on Etsy). This is a very pretty piece though!
@linnypinny She can wear most of it, just not gold. It just doesn't look very good after a few weeks! LOL! @swilde They are sending us a replacement because it's guaranteed. Hopefully, this one will last a little longer. @olivetreeann Oh, that's a great idea. I'll have to check into that. She won't turn wood! @paulam We put gold studs in her ears when she got them pierced and they kept getting infected. She had a terrible time with them. Then one day my father-in-law said he was allergic to gold and we realized that she must be, too.
