Oh, the things I do for and with my boys. Tonight, we helped park cars at the Lee County Fair. When we first started, this field was completely empty. Hours later, it was full and we were parking cars along the road. All together, 3 parking lots this size were packed to full capacity. And on the other side of the fair grounds, there were more parking lots full. It was the most popular spot in the county tonight! Thankfully, clouds kept the temperatures bearable and the rain held off until we were leaving.
@joansmor A lot of people were excited because Friday night was Mud Bug night. There was a big competition too see who could ride their ATV through the mud! LOL! The worst part was many drivers pulled int the parking lot talking on their cell phone and paying no attention at all to the Boy Scouts who were trying to direct them to a parking space. A few of them were pretty scary. @ceilidh Thanks!
@digitalrn Spencer and I got free passes into the fair (worth $7 a person). Dave, Tori and Hunter had to pay to get in since they didn't help with parking. At least the Mud Bug (ATVs racing through mud) didn't require extra admission, like at our fair in IL. We just went in, ate dinner and looked around for a while.
