For my Get Pushed Challenge this week, I was asked to photograph something for Fire Prevention Week. I'm afraid I have been very busy, so I took the easy way out and took a picture of the Fire Tower behind my house, which is used by the NC Forest Service to watch for forest fires. Our area is rather heavily forested, so listen to Smokey the Bear, "Only you can prevent forest fires!"
That's so awesome I gave this challenge to you and you have the fire tower right in your backyard!! :) Great picture. Would also love to see the view from the top of that!
@digitalrn So would I, but I don't think they let people go up it any more. I'd certainly get my exercise getting up there! LOL! @mvandeputte Thanks, I was hoping to get something else, but it's been a crazy week. It is literally right behind my house through a small strip of trees. It's well known around town, as even the road past our subdivision is Fire Tower Road! LOL! I hope that one day we will get to go up and see the view from the top.
