While waiting on my daughter at the dentist last Wednesday, I was watching a game show on TV. Another man in the waiting room said he wasn't good at answering the questions on the game show. He went on to tell me that all 3 Jeopardy contestants missed the one question he knew the answer to on the other night's show. He couldn't believe they didn't know what a loblolly was! Everyone knows that right? He was surprised that I hadn't known what a loblolly was until I moved to NC six months ago.
What is a loblolly? The large pine trees that are common in the southeast U.S.
@linnypinny I had never heard of them either. When my sons went to Boy Scout camp right after we moved here, their campsite was called Loblolly, so we looked it up. LOL!
