Hair experiment!

My nearly 18-year-old daughter rarely lets anyone take a picture of her. But, she wanted to try this braiding technique she saw on YouTube, called Fishtail Braid. Because her hair is so long, I had to help her. It was an easy braid and looked really cute, and she actually let me take a picture of it and let me post it on FB for everyone to see. Shocking! But, she didn't like it. She's used to her hair hanging loose in curls down to about her mid-back. Straightened, he hair reached below her waist, even braided.
Looks really good, i wish my hair was that Long for it to try

@annika82 Actually, this works better with shorter hair. about shoulder length. Took us 10 minutes to do her hair! LOL!

@linnypinny I wish she would let me post a picture of it down. She has great hair, course she spends 3 hours in the bathroom every day to get it! LOL!
@therubysusan @danette @bill_fe Thanks!

Beautifully done indeed. I used to do my girls' hair like this for school. It was the only way to keep them tidy for the day

This is very pretty. We call it fish bone or wheat spike braid. (Litterally translated.)
