Growing season in the South! by homeschoolmom

Growing season in the South!

I believe that this is either alfalfa or spring wheat growing in this field. The tobacco fields are planted and the plants are several inches high already. Now I just have to find a field where I can get a picture of them.
I'd love to put someone in the middle of that field and shot away!!! Great shot!!!

@froggie0628 I know, especially this one which is so lush and green. Too bad I don't know the owner of this field. I suspect it belongs to the little farm nearby. I want to stop and ask them to let me photograph their tobacco which is just starting to grow, but my daughter won't let me! LOL!
@danette We are surrounded by them here. Not big fields like we had in IL, but tons of little fields. Makes for a very pretty drive through the country.

Seems like I can see the wind move on them.

I vote for spring wheat. Alfalfa resembles clover. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfalfa
