Tobacco is up! by homeschoolmom

Tobacco is up!

The tobacco plants are up. Haven't seen any cotton yet. I thought that maybe they don't plant it every year, but I looked it up. Says cotton can be planted up until the end of June, so maybe they just haven't done it yet.
Super collage, greens and lines. Smokin'!:)

Cool... I've never seen anything other than corn, beans, wheat, and horse radish grow.

Nice shots- both of them and the two together make a nice story.

@amandal Hahaha! Thanks!
@melpitts Neither had I until we moved here. Took me a while to figure out what it all way. The cotton is particularly beautiful in the fall, the tobacco not so much! LOL! And the fields are much smaller here than they were in IL.
@olivetreeann @dide @francoise Thanks!
@ninaganci Now that I know where I can stop without being run over, I will probably take several pics of this between now and fall. Last year, I found a parking lot near a cotton field, so I was able to get lots of great pictures of it. No parking lot here, but at least it's a small road where I can pull over without much traffic to worry about.

@annika82 Thanks! Yes, it pretty much only grows in the South (southeastern US). I had never seen it before we moved here.
