Is it spring or autumn? Calendar says autumn, but this sasanquas camellia tree thinks it's spring (actually, turns out they bloom in the fall). Beautiful find in the park today. Made me very happy to find this!

They don't look like the camellias that bloomed in our subdivision last Feb and March. They were more of a bush and this is a tree. Is there a tree variety, too?
@randystreat I think you are right. They are a different variety than loom in late winter and early spring. Sasanquas, which looks more like a tree than a bush, and blooms in fall. When I googled them, they looked like this cherry tree that blooms in the fall, but probably is a camellia. I never even though camellia since it was a 7 foot high tree.
