Well, we have officially moved on to summer here in the South. It almost reached 90 degrees F today. Had to turn my air conditioner on Saturday night. My son finally mowed the grass (it's needed it for about a month now) and my first iris bloom opened today. Hello, Summer!
@brillomick When we moved from NH 3 years ago in June, we had only had a handful of days above 60. Our average afternoon temp for January is 50. We hit 85 a couple of times in February. March was cooler, but mostly only at night. Definitely summer here.
@cathieg I have lived in NH and NC. NH had 6 or 7 months of winter and only about a month of summer. NC has about 7 months of summer and about 2 weeks of winter each year! LOL!
