I had three Get Pushed challenges this week and I chose to do two of them instead of choose between them. The second one was to take a photo that my 10-year-old self would have taken. This shelf and dishes/toys where mine when I was 10. Actually, the little ones on top were my mom's when she was a girl. But, I have had these since I was a kid and loved them so much, my favorite great uncle made me this shelf to keep them on. And, they are still on display in my house today.
I can see why you loved/still love these. I really like the little mixer and other appliance (base to a blender?) I can imagine myself all set up with my pretend kitchen/house under the basement stairs, mixing up the play ingredients for a cake. Mission accomplished!
PS My sister and I also played with things our mom and aunt had when they were growing up. Paper dolls and books especially -- also doll house furniture. What treasures your little inherited dishes are!
