My Get Pushed challenge this week was to do a collage of our favorite duty station, since my hubby is military and we have lived all over. So, since my favorite duty station was Germany in 1990-94, I dug out my old negatives and used my negative converter. I made all the photos black and white, even though they were color negatives. It's a lot harder to get the color right, and I worked for the military newspaper and took, developed and printed a lot of black and white photos. The two photos on the left side are Neuschwanstein and Linderhof castles. The castle on the right in Mespelbrunn, which a small castle only 8 miles from where we first lived. The two middle photos are the local bishop's residence in Aschaffenburg and the headquarters building of 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, which was across the street from my hubby's armor company on Ready Kaserne. We were there for 2 years before it closed down, then moved to Wuerzburg for another two years.
On the flip side, we can't decide which place we like the least Ft. Riley, Kansas, or Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. It really depends on the day!
