My Get Pushed Challenge was to photograph the wildlife in my back yard. My dog scares away most of the birds and bunnies, so that left the fire ants as the local wildlife. We've been fighting fire ants all summer. Only one mound at the moment, but it is quite large. Fire ants are terrible little buggers. They are super aggressive, and their bite is very painful and itchy. A fire ant bite almost always gets infected. They can take weeks to heal.
