Well, Seamus loved the tennis stick that Hunter got him. He loves tennis balls and the stick was the perfect size for him. But, it obviously wasn't made for strong chewers like Seamus. He really chewed through it and ate a piece of the rubber core in less than 5 minutes. We had to take it away from him. He was not happy. Thankfully, we got him another big bone, so we were able to distract him with that so we could throw the tennis stick away. Not the first toy he has destroyed in minutes.
My dog loves Christmas and can't wait to open all his toys. But he, too, chews through them in a matter of minutes. ...Which is why we'll only buy the really cheap ones and then fix and re-gift a few every year!
@aikiuser Elk antlers tend to be the only thing he doesn't eat. And once he realizes he can tear into something. He doesn't stop until it's completely destroyed.
