Following our tour of the Samuel Adams Brewery yesterday, we took a trolley "party/drinking" tour of the historic areas of Boston, known as the Freedom Trail. A statue of patriot and founding father Samuel Adams stands outside Fanneuil Hall in historic Boston. Our tour guide (and trolley driver) likened Sam Adams and the other founding fathers as the "terrorists" of their day because of their involvement in the Boston Tea Party. He also said that the "Sam Adams" photo on the beer isn't really Sam Adams, but Paul Revere. The guy on the label looks a little like this statue, but he resembles the pictures of Paul Revere more than the pictures of Sam Adams. Interesting!
@digitalrn More than we can see in a year, that's for sure. @lafish@lynnilou Thanks! @olivetreeann There is a big difference between dumping tea into the river and killing innocent people, I agree!
