While at Niagara Falls, we took a boat tour up to the falls. It was awesome, but we got soaked even though we we wearing rain ponchos. What looks like mist coming off Horseshoe Falls feels like hard driving rain (and it was cold rain, too). Good thing I invested in that $2 camera sleeve. I got some great pictures in spite of the water drops on the lens!
@annika82 Surprisingly, it wasn't that bumpy. But, you could tell the boats had to work really hard to get upstream. It's a very swift river. A mile downriver there are class 6 rapids, some of the most dangerous rapids in the world.

I loved going on the Maid of the Mist. It's really amazing to be as close to the Falls as they bring you. Smart move on the camera sleeve and good shot!
