Ready to go over the falls!

Watching the water go over the Horseshoe Falls in Niagara Falls, Canada. From this angle, it almost looks shallow, but in reality it's about 174 feet high. The extreme "mist" from the falling water seems to fill in the drop.
Very cool shot

Great shot! The size and height of the Falls are deceptive unless you have one of those Maid of the Mist boats in the picture for comparison. We were just there last month; it's such a neat place!

@graemestevens Thanks!
@hoosierhokie We were there in May. The fist time we saw the falls was at night. It didn't look very big at all. But, it the daytime, it looked a lot bigger. From down below on the boat tour, it looks huge! I remember seeing your picture and thinking that the snow had finally melted! LOL! The American side was hardly open.

I love the green glassy look

@swilde They said the water is green because it moves very quickly and picks up a lot of minerals from the rocks.
