This old windmill probably pumped water up from the river below it and stored it in the tank for later use. I can't get over the blue sky. Just 5 minutes earlier, it was pouring down the rain while I was trying to take pictures at a historical site nearby. I'm using this as filler from when we moved.
@swilde The grist mill across from it looks amazing. But, they aren't open to the public any more, just for private events. I would have loved to get some pictures of those buildings, but I was only able to snap a few from the road before I noticed that there was a $100 professional photographers fee. Good thing I'm not a professional photographer.
@digitalrn We have had beautiful weather. It's only rained 2 times in the past month. Might know it would rain in the hour I was at the plantation taking pictures. I waited the worst of it out, so some of the time it was just sprinkling.
