Getting stood up means something different in football. In blocking terms, it means to push up, standing the other kid up, which takes them out of there low position, and let you push them backward out of the way. Here, Hunter (on right) stands up the other kid, making him take a step backward to keep his balance. Not too shabby for the first night of full contact. He's been looking forward to this day since practice started. I think it's going to be a good season for him, his 7th season (and 4th team).
@olivetreeann That is his dream! @mittens Thanks! @joansmor He has had to do that 3 years in a row now. He takes football seriously, so he's hyper focused at practice. His last coach was shocked to see him acting silly at our super bowl party! LOL! @swilde@ceilidh Thanks!
