I was looking forward to some fried green tomatoes. I got it yesterday and this morning it was starting to turn red, so I cut it up to fry. This is what I found. The inside was mostly red already. I fried them, but they didn't taste right. For good fried green tomatoes, you have to fry them before they start to turn, not when they look like Christmas decorations! Yes, we had fried Christmas tomatoes with breakfast! LOL!
Who would have thought they turn inside before they turn outside? I always thought it was the other way around. And at first I thought there actually was a "Christmas" tomato and it was supposed to look like this!
