I took this picture the other day. It's not even October yet and still 80+ degrees outside, but stores already have their Christmas decorations out. Christmas is less than 3 months away.
Oh no, not Christmas trees already. LOL Cool shot, though. I've actually seen trees in the stores around here, too. I guess Christmas will come up really fast.
@mittens We walked into the gardening section of Wal-Mart and it was full of Christmas trees instead of gardening supplies! LOL! It still feels like summer here! Kinda weird!
Gee I wouldn't be too happy to see these instead of gardening items,lol....
Christmas things here in Australia come out way too soon even before we start to think about it.
Nice shot though.
OH NOOOOOO! not yet, it looks wrong!!!!but I have to say I am making some pressies as we speak and have purchased some too because I hate shopping in December
@paulam My son liked the "dead" tree! LOL! @pinkpaintpot My kids are making their list of what they want. It's hard to get in the Christmas spirit when it's still hot. @digitalrn I don't know where this year went! @olivetreeann I don't know. I don't really see the economy recovery. The earlier they start, the better chance they've got of getting people's money! LOL!
:o welcom to America lol. This is crazy and People start fussing about the Shops selling Christmas candy here already, you guys take it one step further by selling the complete trees already!!! :D Do People over there actually do the "real" tree Thing like here? I am sure you know it from oyur time here that here hardly anybody has the artifical ones ;)
@homeschoolmom I was being sarcastic. I think the marketers feel if they push Christmas earlier people will start shopping. In reality it just makes you tire of the Christmas hype that much earlier.
@annika82 I don't think real trees are as popular here. You can get them. My allergies are too bad. Ironically, we bought our first artificial tree in Germany! LOL! Now they are easy to assemble and come with the lights on them, so they are quick and easy. Even our giant 7-foot tree goes together in 3 pieces, and it doesn't make me sneeze! LOL! @tremerryn Yes, there, too! @olivetreeann OK, makes more sense now! LOL! The true meaning of Christmas is an afterthought for most people, if they even think about it at all. They commercialism of Christmas gets old quickly.

Pretty soon they'll be bringing it out right after the Fourth of July. Good catch.
