The other day I took a picture of these hay bales in the rain (posted yesterday in this album). Today, the sun came out and it feels like summer again. I'm loving the South, but my kids are hating this hot weather.
@joansmor Thanks. It was another drive-by shooting! LOL! The roads around us aren't very busy. Good thing! LOL! @olivetreeann Yes, these are everywhere. I'm shocked by the variety of crops here in NC. In IL and IN, they really only had corn and soybeans. @paulam It was cool Sunday because of the rain, but 85 here today. Last Oct. I was bundled up in long johns and my winter coat freezing at my son's football games. This year, I'm wearing sun screen.
looks peaceful. Yeah, the weather will take a while for adjustment. Even up here in WV, people from the Northeast were apalled at the heat and its duration. Just didn't feel normal to them.
@francoise That because in New England, they only had a month of summer. They do spring, summer and fall in a span of 5 months! LOL! The rest is winter. I'm more used to WV weather patterns. Even in IL and IN, they were similar, although they got less snow and it was hotter in the summer in IL (actually, it was hotter in IL in the summer than in NC shockingly).
@homeschoolmom hey, if you ever want to meet up for a photo walk let me know. My niece who also yused to be on here will be here this week for a couple of weeks and if the rain stops and it cools down, I was thinking about ravens rock park...not sure if the leaves are turning yet though. I wonder if there are other 365's around here too.?
@bristolrose Oh, that would be awesome. I have not been there, so that would be fabulous to see. I have seen a few 365ers in Charlotte area, but that's it.
Great shot, although I have to say with these modern 'rolls' I miss the stacks and stocks of my childhood! Where could where could lLittle BoyBlue sleep?
