Last year was quite an adventure for us, living in NH (near Boston, MA) while my husband went to school for 2 semesters as an Army War College Fellow at Tuft University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (the premier graduate school for diplomats around the world). He successfully completed 6 classes; wrote two huge research papers (the final one was 25 pages, plus 10 pages of footnotes); attended numerous lectures at Tuft, Harvard and MIT; represented the Army at several events at local colleges; went to two formal balls; went on 3 educational field trips; saw all the big sites in New England; and we have moved on. Last page of the book was finished last week with the framing of his War College and Tufts diplomas. I was a little worried that the gold and orange trim around the diplomas would clash, but it looks OK. You can't really tell from this picture, but the Tufts diploma on bottom is cream and baby blue, trimmed in orange. Surprisingly, it looks OK, too! LOL! Good thing. I'd hate to spend all that money getting this framed and it be ugly!
@joansmor Yes, it turned out better than I expected. Really wasn't sure about that orange for the Fletcher School next to the baby blue for Tufts! LOL!
@francoise Exactly! LOL! It should have come framed! Hopefully, it will lead to a promotion this winter.
