Such a blessing!

Last night, we went to the Casting Crowns concert. Sidewalk Prophets and Mandisa (who was on American Idol many years ago) were also there. It's was a fabulous 3-hour long concert of Contemporary Christian music. When we left my hands hurt from clapping and my voice was a little hoarse from singing. Such a blessing. And while the crowd was big, it was well mannered. Chaos only appeared when it was time to leave. That many cars on the road created chaos. For the Nov. word for today, chaos.
Beautiful, Lisa, gorgeous capture!

I'd love to have been there! We went into London regularly on Friday evenings for the meeting run by R T Kendall. Once Graham Kendrick was worship leader and we sang one of my favourite songs that he wrote:
Come and see, come and see
Come and see the King of Love
See the purple robe, and crown of thorns he wears
Soldiers mock, rulers sneer
As he lifts the cruel cross
Lone and friendless now he climbs towards the hill

We worship at your feet
Where wrath and mercy meet
And a guilty world is washed
Bt love's pure stream
For us he was made sin
Oh, help me take it in
Deep wounds of love cry out, 'Father, forgive'
I worship, I worship
The lamb who was slain

@digitalrn Thanks!
@ceilidh The guy from Casting Crowns is a youth leader in Atlanta. My teens thought that it was pretty cool that they basically have a concert by Casting Crowns each week. He'd start songs saying, this started out as a Bible study for my youth group or my kids or the teen boys in my youth group. Then he'd sing a song like "Courageous" that because the theme of the movie Courageous.
@jennywren Thanks. They had more light than Mandisa did when she preformed. I had a hard time getting a good shot of her. She danced around too much. Almost every picture I took of her has some blurry part in it! LOL!

@ceilidh I just realized who Graham Kendrick is. I am familiar with several of his songs, except I'm used to hearing Darlene Zschech from Hillsong United singing them.

@homeschoolmom I chose Darlene Zschech' 'my Jesus My Saviour' for my baptism!

@ceilidh Oh, that's a fabulous song. I love her music. In fact, right now in my van's CD player, I have a couple of Casting Crown's CDs and a couple of Hillsong United's (it holds 6 CDs).
