Nothing gets the cat's attention quicker than a blanket (or treats). He was laying on me when my phone rang yesterday. I just threw the blanket across him. Normally, he doesn't like that and crawls out from under it. But, he just laid there. My daughter picked him up and all you could see was his head and tail. He didn't care. He was warm and cuddly and that's all that mattered to him!
