Celebrating in style! by homeschoolmom

Celebrating in style!

We celebrated our anniversary with escargot, baked brie, paella (which is Spanish, not French), creme brule and cheesecake. Yummy!

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we will be doing much celebrating tonight, as my mother-in-law is back in Winchester, admitted to the hospital. Not a good way to start the New Year.
Looks like a quaint place. I hope your mother-in-law gets better soon.

@danette The food was fabulous. The owner/chef was from Nice, France. Thanks. Hoping my mother-in-law gets to come home tomorrow.

@linnypinny Thanks! They are adjusting on of her meds, but there isn't a local doctor who can do that (bad thing about living in a small town where the only doctor works two mornings a week), so she has to stay in the hospital for a few days so that they can monitor her blood. Hoping she gets to come home tomorrow!

Not a fun way at all. Hope things look up soon.

@randystreat @joansmor Thanks! She is on her way home from the hospital. They were really just monitoring her blood during a medication change, but since the local doctors were all off for the holiday, there was no one to check her blood every dayl She is on her way home from the hospital now.
