There is coffee in the acorns!

I gathered these acorns to use for a photo, but my kids kept playing with them. They crushed one of them. Who knew that you could crush an acorn. I thought it was a nut. Turns out, it's filled with tiny seeds that look like coffee grounds. As my youngest son said, no wonder squirrels are so jumpy, they are eating coffee grounds! LOL!
