Oh, you are so lucky! My roses were still covered in snow less than a week ago so they are far from this stage.
@farmreporter Mine didn't see any measurable snow this year. It was a colder winter, but only a dusting of snow on top of some ice once (and a little ice a second time). Last year we got two snows of nearly an inch both times, but overall it wasn't as cold. I'm enjoying the weather in the South U.S.
