Our church has a memorial cross between two of the buildings for their only soldier who didn't return from a deployment. It happened before we started going there, so I only know him as Sam. Being a church who is 75% military related. This week, they put brick pavers and roses around the cross. I'm saving the actual memorial for Memorial Day.
