I don't know what it is about Boy Scouts, but every time I point a camera at them, they make goofy faces. LOL! Tonight we had our Christmas parade. We put the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts on a float. I rode in the truck bed with several other moms (and a grandmother). rained off and on, luckily it wasn't that cold. However, about 3/4 the way through the parade route, cars started passing us on the parade route. Then police sirens were everywhere, crossing the parade route. There was a shooting over on the other road. People scattered. We finished the parade (had no choice, since we were almost done) and hurried back to the middle school to meet with parents picking up kids. I'm very glad I chose to ride with the scouts instead of watching the parade, else I probably would have been watching close by to where it happened. The suspect was caught, no news on the condition of the victim.
