Still sorting through my photos from this weekend. I took lots of photos of Mt. Vernon, even though we only saw about 1/2 of it. George Washington designed and built much of it. He was much happier riding around the estate, working in his extensive garden, crafting whiskey or wine or building a barn, than playing the role of the former 1st President at his Inn.
