The cotton is blooming and will soon have the bolls that open to reveal fluffy white cotton. But, there won't be cotton until late fall. It's not harvested until Thanksgiving.
Beautiful! I seem to remember you posting a picture of the cotton flower last year too. I have never noticed it before at least not that I can remember. For some reason I assumed the flowers were white.
