This is the private beach of the hotel in Nassau, Bahamas, where we spent out honeymoon 30 years ago. It was fun to find the hotel we stayed at all those years ago.
Great to have an opportunity to go back. Although we have found that sometimes the place we go back to doesn't live up to our memories. That happened to us with the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. It had been sold since we were there and was not nearly as well maintained.
@frantackaberry We actually thought that Nassau was nicer than it was when we were there 30 years ago. They have a new water tower that desalinates the ocean water, so no more salty drink from the ice melting in the heat! LOL!
