Should quilts be ironed? I only iron seams and blocks when I'm making it, but after... no way!

Were you ironing it because you were restoring it? The Bow-tie pattern was unique- not used often if I remember- so this is very special!

@ingrid01 I always iron the quilt top before I sandwich it for quilting. But, in this case, I didn't do the squares. It was already assembled. Plus, my sister must have washed it at some point. It was a wrinkled mess.

@olivetreeann I'm going to finish it for my sister, so she'll have 2 twin-sized quilts my grandmother made.
