At the edge of Camelback Bridge where my son is building a trail down to Deep River, there is a box of telephone wires. The cover was missing and the wires exposed to weather. As they were cleaning up the trail, my husband found the cover. It was filled with mud, but he and the Scoutmaster were able to clean it up and reattach it. My son also discovered a badly damaged support under the bridge that the park association didn't know about. He emailed them a pic of it. The bridge took some damage during the flood of Hurricane Florence last fall. The old bridge and the park was 5 feet under water.
