Night sky by homeschoolmom

Night sky

My Get Pushed challenge this week was to take a long exposure sky shot. I was given this challenge a few months ago, but it rained all week so I didn't get to do it. I didn't want to take any chances, so I tried tonight. On manual with the shutter set to stay open 30 seconds and the ISO set at 3200, this is the best I got. Sadly, I don't have the Milky Way above my house, so nothing spectacular. I will keep trying as the weather permits.
@suez1e Here's one attempt. I want to try to get more detail, so I will try again. But, just in case the weather doesn't cooperate, here it is.

I’m not sure I would know how to do any of this

Night photography is difficult done in an area where there are other lights. Also difficult if it's raining. Good one.

Perseid meteor shower peaks this week! Would be super-neat to catch one of them on film.
