Dog Sitting by homeschoolmom

Dog Sitting

This weekend we are taking care of our neighbor's three chihuahas. (Did I mention I'm not a fan of chihuahas?). The older dog, Smokey (bottom right) was sweet, but didn't like to be picked up. The youngest dog, Jack (top right) didn't mind being picked up once he got used to us. He was a little skittish at first. Then where was poor Boots. She probalby only weighed about 2 pounds and she was scared of her shadow. She also bites because she's afriad. So, my husband or youngest son would pick her up with a work glove on. Once they got her picked up, she was OK, still scared, but not biting. And she woudl try to hide behind them. As for the other two, well, I think my sons were training them, as I have a photo of both of them with their tongues stuck out at me! LOL!
They sound quite a handful, well done you and the family for taking care of them, especially when you're not really a fan!
