Candy-coated Fennel

A treat from the Indian-foods store...fennel seeds coated in sugar. These were the perfect after-dinner treat for curried sweet potatoes and kale.

Not at all...I've had them in Indian restaurants now and then....and saw a bag for sale in a tiny shop that sold curry and Indian food. Each piece is about the size of a grain of rice.
