Wind-blown snow

Snow on a sunny day is tricky to photograph. My camera tries to turn it blue, and the contrasts between the sun and the shadows seem harsh. I took this one to B&W. The sparkles are there, sort of, but it doesn't look "white."

Lucky you! our snow said goodbye a long time ago, and there is no sign it will come back any time soon :(
