Official Launching of Misters of Filipinas 2018 Pageant
The 2018 edition of the Misters of Filipinas Pageant will be one of the most promising event to be presented by Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation, Inc. (PEPPS Foundation) and co-produced by Arctic Sky Entertainment. This is the newest partnership founded upon the same core values and principles: to uplift the male pageantry in the Philippines and to promote the Filipino culture and tradition.
The official launching and press presentation of the Misters of Filipinas 2018 Pageant was held on 18 May 2018 at the Ballroom of Novotel Hotel at Araneta Center in Cubao. The guests were welcomed by the members of the Board of Trustees of Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation, Inc., owners and officers of Arctic Sky Entertainment, the reigning Misters of Filipinas Kings and the other talents of PEPPS Foundation. The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation, Inc. duly represented by Mr. Carlo Morris O. Galang, Mr. James Roland V. Salire and Arctic Sky Entertainment duly represented by Dr. Dennis T. Aguirre and Director Jerry Lopez Sineneng formally started the launching of the Misters of Filipinas 2018 Pageant. The much-awaited event was also witnessed by the legal counsels and other officers of the two organizations.
Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation, Inc. (PEPPS Foundation) will be showcasing the 6th edition of the Misters of Filipinas Pageant and has produced three international titles (Mister International, Man of the Year and Manhunt International) and several runners-up positions. The five (5) coveted titles to be awarded during the Misters of Filipinas 2018 Pageant are as follows: Mister International Philippines 2018, Man of the World Philippines 2018, Mister Ocean Philippines 2018, Man of the Year Philippines 2018, Mister Universe Tourism Philippines 2018 and two runners-up. The Man of the World Pageant is a trademark owned and registered with PEPPS Foundation.
Arctic Sky Entertainment is a production company which aims to venture into movie-making, television shows, talent management and concerts. The underlying motivation of the company is to promote and uplift the Filipino culture and tradition and to showcase the beauty innate to the Philippines as country and nation. The first project of Arctic Sky Entertainment is an on-going movie production entitled “Familia Blondina” with Ms. Karla Estrada as the lead actress and will be directed by the multi-awarded Director Jerry Lopez Sineneng. The movie will be distributed by ABS-CBN Star Cinema and will be shown in July 2018.
Mr. Carlo Morris O. Galang, the President of PEPPS Foundation has displayed his great excitement during the launching of the 2018 edition of Misters of Filipinas and the newly formed partnership with Arctic Sky Entertainment. He expressed with so much happiness that the 6th edition will indeed “level-up” the Misters of Filipinas Pageant and will make a mark in the male pageantry. Mr. Galang was also very grateful and thankful to Dr. Dennis T. Aguirre of Arctic Sky Entertainment for welcoming the partnership with PEPPS Foundation. “We welcome the Arctic Sky Entertainment to the Misters and PEPPS Family!”, added by Mr. Galang.
Dr. Dennis T. Aguirre, one of the owners of Arctic Sky Entertainment informed the guests that the project was proposed to him by Mr. Galang. “The company is new in the industry and the vision of the company is aligned with the core values and principles of the foundation in promoting the values, traditions and culture of the Philippines”, explained further by Dr. Aguirre.
Exciting events and memorable activities awaits the 30 to 40 hopeful candidates. We have forged partnerships with the City of Laoag Province of Ilocos Norte, Province of Davao Del Norte and Siargao for the provincial tourism visits, cultural and heritage tours. There are on-going meetings and coordination with the other provinces that would like to be part of the official events and activities of the pageant. Corporate sponsors and participating donors will also provide our candidates with tokens and gifts of appreciation.
The winners of the Misters of Filipinas 2018 Pageant will each receive the following: cash prize, crown, sash, bouquet of flowers, a chance to represent the Philippines in the international pageants and memories that will last a lifetime. The Mister International Philippines 2018 and Man of the World Philippines 2018 will also receive a movie contract.
