A view of North Wales, across the River Dee, from Parkgate on the Wirral. Before it silted up and the Salt Marsh took hold, Parkgate was a major port in the 18th century, before Liverpool was. The view always has a big sky which I have tried to show.
@shannejw thanks Shanne we had just had a proper downpour and were making our way home before the one you can see over the Point of Ayr arrived on the Wirral
@shutterbug49 we are about 10 miles from Chester. There are still Swans on the river there, we used to go and feed them, when our children were young. I still drive through Chester every night on my way home from work.
