Autumn leaf

There are three big Silver Birch trees in our Cul-de-sac. They are lovely in Summer, creating a dappled shade, but a real pain in Autumn, the leaves get everywhere. The seeds are even worse, but I still like the trees. I found this leaf in our hallway, so took a macro of it.

I enjoyed our Silver Birch Tree. Possums decided it was a favourite on their menu. We kept it for years in a disheveled state so they would stay away from other trees and shrubs. Finally, it had to go and now the pesky critters are working their way through a large old Camellia

@imnorman Possums are a scourge in the city and suburbs, and because they are attractive creatures, some people even feed them. I could bore you silly with our run ins with possums. NO, I don’t like them but have to put up with them.
