Esther (@dutchothotmailcom ) suggested to take a picture of Yelena in front of a mosque. In a way she is standing in front of the mosque... only it is not visible.
Behind her is one of the main streets to get in and out of Muscat. In Muscat it is called "Sultan Qaboos Street", and here it is actually "Seeb Street". It also got a number: 1
Our drive takes approximately as long as her lesson, but it is well worth it. Her teacher is Italian and a soloist and teacher for the Royal Omani Orchestra. I would love to see him play in the beautiful Royal Opera House, but of course there are no concerts for public now.
We also heard our visa was renewed today, so we are staying another year! Fingers crossed that all will be better and we can go to a concert next year...
@wakelys Actually there is usually quite a lot of rubbish everywhere. On public streets/city areas and beaches the government sends cleaners.
Unfortunately, in my opinion that only increases the problem - many people are just throw their trash. Especially in the mountains/remote areas where the cleaners do not come it annoys me.
I am surprised to see litter on the walkway.
