old desk by ingrid2101

old desk

A photo taken yesterday in an old abandoned house by the beach, had a go with processing it in snapseed, reducing saturation and shifting focus. It's a child's desk and chair and it was a bit sad that it was just left to rot

really like the muted colors in this shot. Is shifting focus just as it sounds - moving the area of clarity to somewhwere else? Has anyone seen the new cameras where you can choose the point of focus after taking the photo?
January 15th, 2013
@gwhit123 I'm using my iphone George - it's on an app called Snapseed - the best one I've used and tilit-shift is one of the options. You choose the area you want to kkep in focus and it blurs the rest

I felt very wistful looking at this picture. I can remember actually sitting at a desk like that at my primary school! Lovely processing, Ingrid.
