Total panic on Thursday night after being at college and hanging everything for the preview. I realised that my lumen prints weren't fixed and the 2 week long exhibition would ensure all the images would slowly vanish. As it was expired colour paper and I don't have RA4 chems mixed I decided to scan them, get colour prints made and swap them. The colour is far too blue, the originals are a greyer softer blue and I prefeer them but it's better than no image at all. The preview went really well, mainly friends and family of students. Quite nerve racking though. Made sure I was at the opposite end of the room from my work - part of me wants to hear what people say - the other part doesn't. So looking forward to getting sleep, bliss. Also it will be good to get caught up on here - been trying to stay off as I know 10 mins will soon turn into 3 hours. Now I can !!
beautiful! Did the scan then ruin them, or could you put the prints in the dark and fix them later? I hope you take photos of your exhibition. I bet your photos look amazing displayed together.
