cloudy lace by ingrid2101

cloudy lace

Just developed and scanned a film - scanning takes so long!! Up way too late, I have to be up in 5 hours and am going to regret this in the morning. A real mixture in the film as it's been in camera for over a week. I've only scanned half and already there are 2 different windows. mmm I think I may have a thing for derelict/old windows. Made up new chemicals too although I have kept the old ones to do some experimental work with as I was getting funny colours but that may be fun

I personally don't like your windows !!!! I love them & your experimenting intrigues me :-) Now like me, off to bed with ya! Goodnight :-)

Really very nice work, Ingrid. I also am intrigued by your experiments... it's all Latin to me and I admire you greatly.

I was trying to work out what's happened at the bottom - is that the processing or the curtains? Very ghostly feel to this

Love the simplicity and the fact that you still go out of your way to try different experiments.

"I think I may have a thing for derelict/old windows"

Um. Is that a revelation? You could have asked any of us that, and we could have told you months ago :D (Although, to be fair, I would have said "derelict/old buildings in general".)

I don't understand half of what you talk about, let alone what you do (it must be that Scottish accent of yours :P), but please keep on, it's fascinating.

Love this. Leaves you intrigued as to what's behind the curtains. And @Cheesebiscuit I was laughing out loud at your comment

Great patterns. Yes, scanning is a drag

I don't have either developing or scanning equipment, so my film has to go to the shop. A lot easier, but I'm sure it's not as much fun or rewarding.

LOVE your "thing" for derelict old stuff - totally love this cloudy hazy lacy (is that a word?) one

Another cracker

Very nice Ingrid, love how the reflections just linger there on the bottom, unobtrusive, yet important when you look at it for a while.

This is so pretty. Love the delicacy of the design and the tones. You always have a surprise here for your viewers!

Got my eyes open for a Nikon FE, is that what you've got? or have you got an EM?
check out my flickr by the way I uploaded pictures of my lovelies, and it made me want more so I'm on ebay all the time again! A good reason?
