I went to Scapa last thursday on my way home to get the last light. It started raining and I love rain and light together. It's the wind I can't stand - definately born in the wrong place. I'm sure it was Bill Bryson who said "the wind stopped blowing one day and everyone fell over" .. or words to that effect when he was here.

I don't rain all that much - I had to abandon shooting yesterday afternoon when the heavens opened, I've only got one water resistant camera, and this wasn't one of them!
You captured the light and rain perfectly. I have successfully kept my camera dry with an old changing bag. Tied one sleeve in a knot and wrapped the other around the lens. It is awkward to work the camera but it worked.
