film? by ingrid2101

film?

Well technically it is film - it's a polaroid emulsion transfer onto watercolour paper . I used my Impossible Lab printer - it uses your iphone to print on polaroid film - it's the kind of gadget I have to have and I love it. What is annoying is all of this pack of film seems to have a white patch at the bottom, the joys of polaroid . The photo is from a cottage at houton
So cool

The imperfections of Polaroid are what makes it so cool--love this!

Ooh! Fabulous. I rather like the eerie patch of white. I think that it gives an almost ethereal feel to the shot

If I remember correctly, when impossible starting putting the film out, there was the white patch at the bottom of every frame I shot. Something like 20 boxes (i guess about 200 shots). They all had it, but it was in the shape of a triangle. I bought some more over time, but have given up. If I want to shoot instant, I will use fuji (not instax though)

But this came out really nice. I dont believe their original films were emulsion transfer friendly. Have they one something different?

@stillcrappysailor Oh man the first boxes I had were dreadful, everything crystallised and i could have wept... but every new batch improved and I love the newest b&w. This is a cheapo batch - they were offering 3 packs for £12 or something ridiculous. some of it's ok, one pack is so bad it's good - will scan and add.. but the fuji fp100c is beautiful, i have a few cameras that it'll work in - i love bleaching the backs too and darkroom printing
