Rackwick, evening by ingrid2101

Rackwick, evening

A weekend over on Hoy, staying at the Hostel in Rackwick - we cycled down to the beach in the evening - the cliffs are 650 feet high, the sound of the sea crashing in on the boulders can be loud in high tide. Hoy is my favourite island to visit - I never do a tenth of what I plan but always leave wishing I didn't have too ...
beautiful - those massive sea worn stones are mesmerising

Marvelous the foreground stones really give it a great perspective. I loved Hoy too when I visited over thirty years ago. Hope all is well with you. Fav.
